"What’s the vibe back home?"
That's one of the main questions Kiwis have asked me since arriving in London.
After nearly six months in the UK, I still don't know how to answer that question. Most of my friends have left for other countries in search of work, so my knowledge of what's happening back home is purely anecdotal.
However, with my latest piece on my decision to move to London for work hitting number 1 over the weekend in New Zealand, I can only assume that people are still struggling and wondering if life is better elsewhere.
What country isn’t struggling right now, though? Life might be marginally better outside New Zealand for many of us who couldn't find work at home, but it’s still a hustle.
Some of you might not be 1 News readers or follow me on social media, so I thought I’d post a link to the article here for you to check out.
For those of you who’ve moved out of New Zealand, do you feel like life is better abroad, or is it the same as back home?
